In Memory of Prakash Sinha
We lost our founding member and the heart and soul of our charity on Wednesday 21st October 2020.
He will be missed forever but from now on we will try to carry on with his vision and continue his legacy.
We collectively intend to have an Annual Memorial Fundraiser for our charity in Prakash’s memory. (Details to be announced later.)
We also plan to establish “Prakash Sinha Memorial Scholarship” to fund the college costs of at least one deserving student from a socio-economically challenged background. Depending on our budget, we aim to be able to fund more than one student.
One of Prakash’s dream was to get to the corpus of Rupees One Crore (Rs. 1,00,00,000) rupees. We will strive to reach that goal with the generosity and support of our friends and family over the next few years.
Prakash Sinha Memorial Scholarship GMC 79 Charity
GMC79 charity has taken on a new endeavor this year. We are starting a scholarship to honor our friend and co-founder of our charity, Prakash Sinha who passed away on Oct 21st 2020. Prakash Sinha Memorial Scholarship will sponsor medical education of deserving students from underprivileged backgrounds. It will include mentorship to facilitate their emotional and social growth as well.
We will be walking globally, on April 18th on Prakash’s birthday to commemorate his life and to raise funds for our charity and this particular project.
